  We went in New Year's Eve day to get some prices. We live in Florida and were in town visiting family for the holiday. Next day we were half way home when we realized the hubs didn't get his DL back. We called the next day to see if they would have an issue mailing it, and they said no problem! Well, 3 weeks and 3 phone calls assuring it was sent out, going to be sent out, and will send it out and we have now had to pay $55 for a new DL. I understand it's a courtesy. However, as someone in a business that requires handling a customer's DL for the purpose of processing applications or conducting business, it is a shared responsibility between the customer and the associate to be sure said DL makes it back into the hands of the customer.
